On 1 December 2025, the Senate hosted the 2nd edition of the General Assembly on Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare, organised by Ethik-IA with the support of MGEN and under the leadership of Senator Alain Milon, Chairman of the Senate’s Social Affairs Committee.
The objective of this second edition was to bring together decision-makers, experts and healthcare professionals to build a ‘trustworthy AI’ in healthcare capable of reconciling innovation, ethics, patient safety and the sustainability of the system.
At the invitation of David Gruson (Ethik-AI), our partner, Delphine Jaafar had the great pleasure of co-hosting with Lucie Alleaume (Ethik-IA) a session dedicated to one of the key challenges of AI in healthcare: ‘AI security and innovation governance: what original and sustainable management models?’ with contributions from Béatrice Cateaux (MGEN), Florence Arnoux (Regional Delegate FHF PACA), Alexandre Drezet (Director of Innovation Foch Hospital), Nicolas Delaporte (Director of Information Systems CHU Toulouse), Nathalie Conan (Regional Delegate FHF Brittany and President BREIZH IA), and Thomas Jan (Deputy Director General UNIHA).
Structuring, anticipation, acculturation and awareness-raising, dissemination at all levels of an organisation, whether internal or regional, a vector of trust among all stakeholders … and even a lever for a form of regulatory ‘digestion’: this is what innovation governance is all about.
AI in healthcare must remain at the service of humans, not the other way around.
